His journey in medicine began with a personal mission to make a difference in the lives of women, driven by his mother’s struggle with a medical condition characterized by severe bleeding, clotting, and pain. Witnessing the impact of her challenges on their family, he felt a deep desire to find solutions not only for her but for other women facing similar difficulties. As he pursued medical school, Dr. Spencer discovered an innate aptitude and genuine passion for obstetrics and gynecology, which further solidified his commitment to this field.

Over the years, Dr. Spencer has amassed an impressive array of professional achievements. As the CEO/Founder of Baywest Wellness Hospital and Clinics, G-Well Medical Solutions Ltd, Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation of Jamaica, Beauty by Doctors, and 876 Beach Club in Trelawny, he has established himself as a respected leader in the medical community. He has completed several post-doctorate programs, including a gynae-oncology fellowship at TATA Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and a diploma in sonography and minimal access surgery from the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Spencer is also a fellow of the International Society of Cosmetic Gynaecology and the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America.
